I bought two books monday. The U.S. M1icon Carbines, Wartime Production buy Craig Riesch and The M1 Carbine III buy J.C. Harrison.
This will start my parts list. Have been looking at parts they do cost some $$$$$. I have read some of the post about RBA but they do have parts. Will look other places first.

Your first mistake was getting Harrisons book. It's not only outdated but it's filled with lots of errors too. The second mistake is even thinking of using RBA in any way shape or form. There are many other places to get parts and cheaper then RBA plus they will be real ones so you don't have to worry about fakes.

I’ve bought a couple parts from the guy in Franceicon. Have been pleased with the parts and the shipping was quick.

There is a seller on GunBroker from Texas, Eddy Yuja, user name 81MM. He is very reputable and has tons of parts.
