    Recently obtained a No.32 MK3 scope and mount # 24005

From what I can glean from Peter Laidlericon's reference material, Taylor Hobson & Co. started building MK3 scopes starting at serial number 24000. If that's correct, then I have the 5th scope off their assembly line. I'll try to get some photos up in the near term. This is my first MK3 scope.

23930 is the first I have recorded now I'm afraid! 24005 rebuilt by me many years ago. Hope that it's still perfect

    Peter:
When I received that scope I thought it looked like it had been recently "serviced". I put it on my 1944 BSA No.4 MKI (T) sniper and it took very little adjustment of the turrets to get a good bore sight. Can't wait to get it to the range.

Ah, yes...... But as I was told and now always repeat to myself AND tell budding authors........... The very first person to read your book ALWAYS knows more than you do. And do you know why? Yep..... Because he knows all that you've just written AND the tiny bit he knew before

Don't I know it Peter as someone who has written more than a few things! Any update on the new book?
