I passed up a gun show because of this rifle. I have not attended one in probably three months and one was coming up this past weekend. My wife and I had planned a day trip and coincidentally, the gun show was in the same town. It was a coincidence, REALLY. The coupon on my desk was also a coincidence. Anyway. I found this at the yard sale the day before we were going to the gun...I mean town day trip and as I pretty much cleaned out both my wallet and my wife's purse to buy this, I told her I didn't need to go to the gun show the next day.
We had a nice time on our day trip.

I got mine at a yard sale to. I only paid $75.00. I can not imagine not being able to go out and find such things here in the US.

Wow, great gun and great price.
The best deal for me is a 1950 Long Branch with transit case, never issued for $400.00. Offered the owner more, he refused saying he wanted it to go to a good home.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

I have been on the recieving end of a couple of those as well. Some see the value in passing a piece of history on to some who they are confident will be a good steward of the item.
