    Probably went through our workshops BP. They did have a lot of kit and absolutely zillions of old wartime issue Webley Mk4's. As .38 ammo was always a bit short and I think our ammo allocation was two-rounds per-man per-year per-haps. The Police used to bring us .38 ammo to use. Their kit was always quite good but you just couldn't keep the ravages of wet/damp/moisture away and the daily monsoon rains lasted from the mid August right through until the end of July. We used to pack the cylinder axis with PX11 but they'd clean it off. Out of sight and out of mind, the rust would start again
