Well, I want to hold off shooting the Rock Island until I can replace the single HT Rock island bolt with a D1 on the end of the safety lug with a period DHT bolt of 1918 make, Springfield or Rock Island. Maybe a C8, R5, Rlo, BLOicon or J5.
My D1 Rock Island bolt is OK, but it has a greenish brown color that doesn't match the rest of the rifle.
