    Thanks every one for the comments.

    I've never Duracoated before. A lot of AK guys go that route but being it's a gun of steel and wood, it deserves either blue or Parkerizing.

    The only pieces I set on the bottom of the tank were the top covers and the safety levers. I was able to set them on the edge and all was good. The top covers are very thin edged so they worked out well also. Jim, I bought that camp stove for $5.00 at a thrift store in Walker, CA on the US395. Best $5.00 I ever spent
