    M1 carbine barrel maker ????

    Would any one know how made this barrel ???. I'ts not G.I. Barrel is 18'' no skirt & it screws on a G.I. receiver. piston housing ?????

    Isn't that a Universal Carbine of Fla? I remember they had a huge back end like that...the others will be along shortly to confirm or deny.

    Years ago, I saw either a National or Alpine that had a barrel like that. You had to use a metal hand guard, because the channel in a GI wood one would not accept the big square topped rear of the barrel. This one has no skirt on the rear, however, so it may e a Universal.
