The goal here was to make a decent utility rifle on a budget. When I got this the barrel was cut just forward of the sight (excellent bore) and both the receiver ring and charger bridge were drilled and tapped, badly. Additionally, the bridge was ground down about 1/8". The bridge is now gone and the barrel is 20" long and free-floating. I was inspired by the angle iron scope mount on Steve Redgwell's site but attempted to make something just a little more graceful. Excluding the scope and rings I've got less than $150 invested and it shoots very well so I think I'm happy.Information
