Mk3 front sight
I recently picked up a 1914 BSA manufacture mk3. The stock was cut down and front sight is missing. A friend of mine has a no4 front sight that slips on the barrel fine. Are the front sights for the 2 different models the same height, or do I need to find a mk3 sight?
Also, is the anywhere I can find a unit disc? The cut out is there but the disc is gone.
Thanks
Dave

The i/dia No4 foresight is too large a diameter isn't it....., surely? I'm sure that you'll find the correct foresight block band but seem to recall that on the new No1 barrels that we had, the foresight (and backsight bed) were a part of the barrel; and not interchangeable.

You can get repro stock discs in several places, e.g. Reproduction, SMLE Etc Brass Butt Disc & Screw.
