Hmmm.. good question, tower. With any luck the OP will be about soon with an update.
There is a scope on ebay at the moment... been there for a week and hasn't had a bid yet. I have no connection with the seller, but there may be some here interested but wouldn't find it as it is listed in the WW1 militaria category.

Saw that scope. A bit pricey at buy now if I remember correctly. Was considering it but would really pefer the low mount brackets.

Didn't see a buy it now price on this one, it is a high mount, and opening at probably a grand below what I'd expect it to pull.

Prrgaps not the same one I saw a few days back. Will have to check it out. Saw one sell 2 months ago for about $1200 US if I recall correctly. Bid on it but was sniped the last minute.

Well I'm pretty excited to say that as of the last couple of days I've made significant in roads to the ability to manufacture replica HT mounting hardware.
Watch this space.
I'm going to try and get as much help with collating HT data, and try and have it recorded in one place to assist with the further steps in this endeavour

Just an update...life and all that have got in the way a bit with the production of the drawings for the scope mounts, but I'm happy to say that I'm back on task, and well on the way to finishing up my cad models.
I've had a local gun smith fit my no32 scope to me 4T 'faithful reproduction', and I'm very happy with his work, so he will again be called on to help for the fitting process and providing information on collimation.
As a side note our Club hosted our State Service Rifle Championship meet on the weekend just gone, 45 odd shooters competed in our 'sniper' classification at 600m.....any guesses which type of rifle in the hands of one of our members took out the S1 division, up against 4T's?
begins with an H and ends with a T
