Thanks for the info peter, i'll get up there in the new year. About 35 years ago when i was in the REME cadets 212 wembley i'm sure we went to a big display at warminster?. it had live fire tanks, snipers etc. they shot down a model plane, that pi**ed off the air cadets. oh happy days.

There are several pictures of Ts with the C 67 used by the PPCLI in Korea.

Thanks CZ. I just read your post then tripped over to Amazon thinking 'I'll get myself a copy of this book'. There is one listed, at just under $400. I'm fascinated by anything on WW1/WW2 era sniping, but that is a seriously expensive book...........

Yikes! I paid $30 for my copy a couple years ago.

Did a little more digging and found this link:

    MLBU

I am not sure if copies from the author are still available, but the price is much better.

CZ, merci mille fois! I'm writing to the family address from where it states copies are available (or at least were in 2007). No email addy unfortunately, but at least it's a lead. I'll keep you posted.

    Rog,

I'd definitely be interested in a copy if you get anywhere with your enquiry.

    Simon,
I've just posted (snail mail) the letter & I've asked about purchasing several copies if they are still available. I had you, Valley, nobsdave, Nigel et al in mind. Seems pointless us all buying one copy each from Canadaicon. Mind, there's no guarantee they're still available, but let's keep our fingers crossed they are. I'll keep you posted.

Ok Kim - if I can get a few copies.

By the way, if you're up in this neck of the woods again ever, whilst I don't have a complete CNo67 bearing No4 (T), I do have a scope with its rings & mount base. I've also got a complete TP rifle if it is of any interest. (But sorry, no, neither are for sale!).
