how are you dating your mkIV to 1944 ? just wondering , as you did not show many photos , but i dont see the "war finish" stamping on the right frame above and in front of the trigger guard ,

the mkVI is normally marked on the left frame above the trigger the date is generally there , here is mine as an example -
