    webley prided itself on its finish of commercial weapons in that period they had to forgo some of those efforts to produce the required pieces so they marked them as a lesser finish grade , ive not seen any marked as his is but i learned long ago not to say 'never or always' when it comes to the pieces i collect , mine is marked on the other side ,

    my enfield mkVI is marked on the opposite side as the webley mkVI -
