Wanted to say Hi to everyone.

I've been tinkering with milsurps for about 25 years. I started with Enfields and branched out from there. I reload for about all of them and shoot a lot of cast as well, sometimes I play with paper patching.

Been looking around the site for a couple of days and have already found some good info.

    New Memeber

Hello, new member to the forum. I'm a relatively new collector when it comes to surplus rifles but I am learning everyday thanks to forums like this and all the wisdom it and the members possess. Glad to be here. In my surplus collection so far: 1903 springfield mk1(all original parts except the correct bolt), 1943 mosin nagant 91/30(all #'s matching), 1930 finnish mosin nagant, a sino-soviet Chinese sks, and a m57 tokarev

    Intro

Hello. Happy to have found this very informative site. I am a collector and shooter of US Martial Arms. I'm primarily interested in Krags, 1903s and Garands, focusing on fine condition correct arms with exceptional bores- especially muzzles. With a few exceptions I shoot every rifle I own, and usually quickly dispose of those that are inaccurate.

I compete (not very well, these days, with my 70 yo eyes) in local CMPicon and Marine Corps vintage matches and at Camp Perry every year. These days I pretty much go to Perry for the companionship of like minded people and because I still enjoy the match atmosphere and just pulling the trigger. I also like walking through the parking lots, with thousands of vehicles -not one of which has an Obama bumper sticker on it…..

Hope to have some interesting conversations with you folks.

    Dokcop

    New here

Howdy folks, I'm new here, but not to collecting. I focus primarily on WW2 era firearms, mostly rifles and am looking to add a few pieces to the collection I have going.

    Hi, everybody.

I've been collecting milsurps for over 20 years. I've got 5 milsurp Mausers, a bring back 6.5mm Arisakaicon, 4 MAS 49/56's, and Bren, BESA and Yugoicon M53 parts kits to build up (semi-auto of course).
