building a 22 rim fire on an M1903
A few years ago, I bought a well used low serial numbered (1915) Springfield 1903 barreled action from the CMP. The barrel was burned-out. I found a man in NC who installs full length quality 22 rim fire barrel liners on 1903 barrels, they have an extension to fit the Springfield M2 (with the headspace adjustment). I had a M2 bolt and was able to put this together, also used a Lyman 438 pre WW2 scope. Gun Parts sells a 03A3 trigger housing modified to use a magazine too.Attachment 48562Attachment 48563Attachment 48564Attachment 48565

Love to have one of those...even if I had to make it myself.

Nice, nice, nice...wish I could be lucky enough to find one. They just don't exist up here.

one just sold on ebay from gunparts corp, it says Marlin 89C, 56 semi autos and fits the numrich conversion, they are probably available directly from them, flathead

I believe the magazine would also be the one that fits the M65 Reising. With that said I would love to add one of those to my military .22 collection. That is a real prize!
