Remington 1903 New Zealand Lend Lease
Hello all
I am looking for opinions regarding rarity and value of a Remington 1903 New Zealand Lend Lease in mint condition with a 1923 sling. Thank You in advance for your help.

I'm assuming you're the same person who posted the same question on Jouster? You can read my comments there. If you need any more assistance, feel free to post again or PM/email.

Yes Rick it is me. Thanks for your help and I did reply to your latest post on Culvers. I will post some pictures tonight. I am going to have to pay more for this rifle than what I am hearing it is worth but it is one of those I just have to have. I remember stepping up to to the tune of $2,000.00 to buy the Red Star listed on Gunbroker a few years back (an actual rifle purchased form Red Star) and that paid off, I hope this does also. This rifle has been in a collection for many years and I got inspect it maybe four years ago when it was not for sale. I have been looking ever since with no luck so how rare are they?

It's not that they're so rare, the good ones are being absorbed and not let go of. You have the numbers there, they aren't as plentiful as other types but it's just that they came back in good shape, so they're an excellent example and hi demand.

Thanks Jim I appreciate the feedback. I guess I am too impatient to wait for someone pull one out of their collection. Will "unavailable" drive the price up same as the rare will?

Supply and demand I think. If you sit on one for a bit the price will extrapolate...time. It won't jump suddenly, but that's not what you're about. I think you're just wondering if it's worth the money...is it going to de-value...? I'd just think if you need this one, you should get it and enjoy. I sort of wish I hadn't sold many of my hard to get's some time back, but I'm living in what they bought now...a house...wish we'd had digital cams back then...

I agree with John Beard on Jouster that prices have "softened" in the last 2-3 years.
