I am a new member, with almost no experience and nothing to offer here, but am looking for some advice on finding a gift for my husband!

Can anyone point me in the right direction in finding a tiger striped stock for a 1903A3??

I may sound like an idiot as I really have no idea what I'm doing... but is there a price range I should expect? Are the very difficult to find?

If they will be he very difficult to find or very expensive, I'm open to any other ideas. He has the 1903A3 and an M1Garand.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I recently treaded with a friend for a M1icon Carbine he got from the NRA/CMPicon program, and I'm having a ball checking out all the markings. The stock appears to be a replacement and is stamped RIA in a box with the initials ED. It has a circle K in the sling cut out and no other markings. I am in the process of cleaning/oiling the stock with flax seed oil (RLO) and have cleared it up quite a bit. I can actually see the walnut grain. The handguard in birch, marked L-J, and although stained, is quite a bit lighter than the stock, but I will deal with that later.

    Smile Hi folks

    Hi all,

Pleased to join the forum. Even more pleased as I have acquired a deact 1913 SMLE Mk III after some research and can't wait to see it in the flesh soon. I'll be asking all sorts of silly questions of you experts before then!

Hey Folks - New Guy from Illinois

    Hey Folks,

Just wanted to say a quick "Hello" all the Milsurps members. I'm an avid Hunter, Shooter and Fisherman with a love of all things Milsurp. Not a huge collection but have a few shooters in the herd, i.e. 1939 K98icon, Mosin Nagant. couple "sporter/bubba" No4Mk1 Enfields, SKS and misc non-Milsurp stuff. Look forward to talking shop, learning a lot and contributing to what seems to be a very cool forum.

    Be well all.

Hello to all ya'll from the High Plains of Texas.

I discovered this forum as I was looking for some information on a Martini action I've had stuck on a back shelve for 25, maybe 30 years. Thought it was about time to see if I could get it to shooting again and I'm sure the expertise I need to help me do that I will find here.
