The 100 mtr/yds (cat 6) comp was based on any trainer, like you say some have never seen a centerfire trainer, but here is one I know of, ( a training device rather than a training rifle see link below) there may be other ones out there, as we know most are .22, but someone may be lucky to own one similar to the one in the link etc, so its not just .22 based.

Just tried to make it open to all milsurps etc, as for rules.... very little, just go out and enjoy it, if you are at one of the stated ranges then stick a target up and see how it goes.

My range time has been limited recently due to work and family (plus a lot of unexpected DIY) but that's life, but manage to get to the local club a few times a month, I shoot in one of the Leagues on the Rifleman.org site, its a postal comp but I enjoy it and even won a runners up medal in my division, this was the idea behind adding the 25 and 50 mtr/yds etc. Thought it may open a few doors for more Milsurp members.
