Lightweight .303" Bren barrel on it.
The Mk1 Sten is very interesting. I would guess that this was one of the first dropped to the Maquis/resistance as we'd, er......., 'left' France by the time the Mk1 was introduced. Nice to know a bit of its history or where it was recovered.

Neat old Sten, the Bren could be sorted out...it would be a row to hoe...but it could be sorted...might need a couple of parts.

I would love to know the history behind the STEN too, I hadn't realised we had dropped the Mk1 to resistance groups. I'll see if the French seller speaks English, I'd love it my self but I with the way things are over here, I don't fancy the risk. I know it's Kaput but I don't want an argument with the powers!

Welcome to the wonderful world of USA import law. The receivers must be torch cut removing 1/4" of metal in three places. After July 2005, barrels, bolts and breech blocks are also illegal to import in any condition.
