Advice needed on basic Springfield M1A

We found that putting the reflex sight further forward allowed for faster target acquisition.

That one was placed to see if cowitnessing the iron sights was practical. Works fine and the small sized reddot way up front just seems to lose something. Would rather put a standard sized redot up front. But then the scope would be in the way.
