Hello to every one, just a novice collector, that every so often needs some information, I have a spanish 1893 short rifle 7x57, The barrel is shot, bullet will go to casing when inserted in the muzzle, I purchased a 1895 spanish short rifle barrel 2nd pattern for replacement of the orginal, only difference that I can tell is the rear sights and bases, The 93 has a ladder sight, and the 95 has a ramp sight, can I put this barrel on the 1893 action?
Thanks to any and all for any info, in advance, ezekial

I found this site while browsing M-14 pics on 'Google Images'.
I served in an American armoured unit during the 1960s. I was stationed in the Fulda Gap to defend Europe from an expected Sovieticon attack. We had M-48A2s, then the new M-60A1. The other guys had an awfully lot of T-62 and T-55s.
Who knew then that CCCP would fall apart the way it did? I miss The Cold War! :0 |

I qualified with every weapon I could get my hands on from the 1911 .45 to the 105mm tank gun. Good times. I trained on the M-1 Garandicon in Basic Training, then was issued an M-14 when I got to Germanyicon (but did not carry it on board the tank!).
I now live quietly :0 ] on a small acreage with a wife, some animals, kids & grandkids, yada-yada....
Oh, and one noisey Harley and six very LOUD rifles.
    That's me. It's a good life.

    Model !911 U.S. Navy

    I have a 1911 U.S. Navy # 359393

It was my Grandfathers and he acquired it in WW1 and I believe it is a 1917 production and would like to know the history of this fine weapon.

I will put it on the market when I can establish a fair value.

I'm new to the Forum and will learn with your help.

    Thanks to all.

    Hi All!

Been involved in firearms for many years. Only recently have I developed an interest in the historic side of military firearms.

I'm hoping to meet others here and learn more about military surplus firearms. My first purchase was a Mosin Sniper that I spent way too much on and didn't know enough to know it wasn't "authentic." Lessons learned, and I do love shooting that bad boy, but know I can make better decisions in the future with the right knowledge.

My current interests are in "shooters," but I do think some day I'll get into true collectibles.

Hi, I'm new to collecting and looking for a good example of WW2 Lee Enfield.
Can anyone please help me identify history of the attached riffle according to the markings and serial number?
    Cheers

Hey, everyone. New here, obviously, and just wanted to say I've look around and REALLY like all the info I've already found. Thanks for having me. I've posted a pic of some of my favorite milsurps. Just so you'd know what I'm into. Cheers. -seven6two
