Hello all! New fella here just getting into collecting Milsurps. I originally started my firearms collection with a lot of the new weapons systems and precision rifles, but have decided to expand my arsenal with pieces of history. I have found that acquiring these firearms and discovering their historical significance is much more fulfilling than buying a brand new rifle off the shelf. I started working on my collection literally last week and have made a total of two purchases since last friday:
1.) Remington 03A3: I believe it is mostly original with the exception of a Smith Corona barrel.

2.) Enfield No.4 Mk II: Unwrapped UF 55A prefix beauty. Excellent shape!

So far, I have gleaned a lot of info in my past couple days of lurking. I look forward to interacting with you fellas and sharing my collection as it expands. Cheers!

New Guy form Wisconsin
I recently got the bug to have a M1
Carbine and traded with a friend for his CMP
Underwood, dated 1-44, complete with sling, 350 rounds of ammo, wrench and the original voucher dated 11-63. Last weekend I picked up a NPM that dates to early 1943.
I'm already a very enthused collecter and enjoy all the posts I read on the forums. Thanks for all the knowledge you have posted.
