    Hell, I could've told them .300 win mag will reach out "and touch someone" at extended ranges and punch holes in s@&t too, for half the price of course..

    In 1956 the US Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) was established and much testing was done over the years. The 300 Ackley Mag was used and both Winchester and Remington provided the cases (headstamped WCC 60 and REM-UMC 300) photos show some examplesAttachment 49762
