Imr 4064 has been my go to powder for long time. I have been loading 54R, 7.5x55 and 223. For a while i could not get 4064 i started using Reloader 15 i really like it. Imr 4198 was a big surprize it shot very in my Mini 14 it shot very well and shoots cleaner than any other powder i have used in a semiauto rifle.

I have used Rx15 with good results for .303. The bullets I use are Sierra 174 gr BT's and although I am told flat base bullets are better accuracy has been very good.
I load 40 grains of Rx15. Hornady shows that as a max load however Lyman show 42 as max and the bullet Lyman uses seems to have a large bearing surface than the Sierra?? I am not showing any signs of abnormal pressure however as always best to be safe and slowly work up a load.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

Any Update of the Vithavouri factory closure?
I know this is an old thread but I came to it while investigating the Vit 140 substitute powder TR140 which I am about to start trials with. It is said to be very similar to Vit 140 and is a lot cheaper. Has anyone tried it yet in .303? And back to the headline. Are there any RELIABLE updates on the position of the Vit factory?
