I saw something cool the other day, 1905 Carbine

Only milsurp in the rack. I looked at it and thought it was one weird looking rifle. Also thought it must be a civilian version as there was no bayonet lug, etc. Pretty nice condition but unfortunately out of my price range unless I do some serious hard thinking on it. I would love to have it to keep working on my Swiss collection but I would have to reload for it as it takes the less powerful round.

Found out what exactly it was after checking my books after getting home. 9000 made, kind of rare I would assume. $800 which is within reason based on my price guide but at the high end. I don't think it is quite that condition, but then 9000 made.......

I dont believe it was a M1905 Cavalry Carbine.
The last I saw for sale was going for $42000
