Slingwell markings:
RMC, F, T, and Bomb
Don't recall what the F and T stood for, maybe shift and line location?
RMC= Rock-Ola made for Underwood....... Thus the nice wood!
You know some early UEF stocks are found without the CC next to the Boxed letters.
Is the Rivet completely missing?

With some parts swapping I brought it up to Underwood correct except for the Barrel Band. I have the Leaf Site set aside for now until I zero in the horizontal position with the type 2 on the weapon.
Some of the Underwood components are not the proper 1942 circa, most notably the hammer and the stock. I'll have to keep my eyes open for them along with a type 1A barrel Band.. Probably going to take a while.
The current type 2 stock (High to Low) will have to do for now and will serve as my shooter. I redid the finish and had my quality control check it out.

It has a fair acceptance stamp.

The wood has a very nice grain.

My quality control official is 20 (97 People Years) and blind so she gives me a lot of slack on my refinish jobs.

This was my 10th stock redo and I have 6 more in the pipeline. It's a labor of love.

I double checked the dimensions of the I cut and they are correct. I saw another Underwood I cut on the market recently and it also lacked the cross cannons stamp next to the UEF/GHD cartouche. Since my weapon is ser # 1385xxx I think I have a good match.
The missing rivet from the HG is no more!
