Good Afternoon folks. Neat site and good info. As a collector of militaria, was researching Enfield Rifles
. Will soon be moving on to my main interest of US arms, M1's (I have 3), a carbine and an M1A1
and a couple .45's.

New Member Checking In
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to Milsurps.com, and very glad to be here. I'm retired after 20 years in the U.S. Navy, a lifelong student of World War II history, and on a very amateurish level, a student of WWII firearms. I currently own a 1943 Springfield M1
Garand, a 1939 Moisin Nagant 91/30, a Enfield .303 BSA No1 MkIII 1939 (an Iraqi contract rifle), and present custodian of my Grandad's Kriegsmodell bnz45. One of these days I hope to acquire a nice Arisaka
as well.
I've been surfing the Enfield and Kar98 threads here, and I have to say, I'm massively impressed by the encyclopedic knowledge of the Milsurps members. I look forward to learning more, and possibly even making a modest contribution.
Cheers!

Hi All,
I just joined this forum to help me find info on the several military guns I have. My first was a Bring-back from my grandfather, a T14 Nambu. Recently, I've gotten a couple Mosin Nagants, a Nagant pistol, a Yugo
Mauser, and now a Yugo SKS. Money is starting to get short and I feel I've got a lot of reading to do to get to know my weapons better. I don't expect to buy another for a while, but who really does? Anyway, I look forward to reading and sharing what I can.

LeeEnfield
This is my first time on this thread.I have a LeeEnfield 1916 Shtle lll . I would like to know where it was made. It has matching ser # on the bolt, receiver & barrel. I bought this Enfield about 30 years ago at a gun show in Phoenix. I think it cost me $100.00
