No the powder was dry, I believe the primer did not fire, and I am guessing when I retracted the bolt the case spun but the bullet didn't effectively pulling the bullet from the case. That's a guess as I am no expert. I am taking the rifle out again this morning, with same ammo, hopefully it was just a rare bad round.

Agree - sounds like a bad primer. You may wish to talk to Privi before shooting the rest of it. They may want to inspect the unfired rounds. Hopefully they will replace your product

Save the brass Privi is good stuff to reload with.....

Just got back from the range. I put the rest of what i had, about 100 rounds, through the 03 and M1
. Not one incident. All rounds went off and made good groups from both rifles. I did save the brass. So i am going to chalk it up to just one bad apple in the bushel. I am going to contact privi though and let them know this happened. Thanks for all your responses
