Interesting footage. Looks like forging the receivers in the first shots. Reminds me of the information that was posted back on that other forum years ago about the workers at Eddystone heating the billets to white heat so they could do all three forging operations on one heat. Probably the reason so many/all the Eddystones up to about 70,000(?) seem to have been made into DP or EY rifles even when hardly used.

receivers were forged at Midvale, as its posted, these are barrels being made.. likely this is the winchester plant.

I remember AE Clarke had the Agency for selling the Enfield hammer forged barrels here in the UK
.
I have a dozen or so P14/M17 with 7.62mm Barrels, they normally have Enfield hammer forged barrels, Schultz & Larsen and occasionally BSA Special heavy barrels.
Its very common to see these set up with these barrel shims,
