Shottist, what are the three parts that you don't think match the ser# range ? I have an Aug. 1944 WRA SER# 24788xx that was received by a friend of my dad through the DMC around 1980. The rifle was original except for the stock and trigger group. My dad bought the rifle from his friend in a divorce sale about a year after he received it and he gave to me as my first Garandicon about 1995. I can check my rifle against the parts in yours to see if anything matches
