Numbers on Stock Comb
Does anyone know what these numbers might be for on top of this 1903A1 stock comb?

I'm assuming on a military M1903? If so, I'd bet armory rack numbers.

Yes - it is on a military M1903A1 NM stock. There is also at a large "12" on the right butt stock and a drawing number on the bottom.
PS: A while back, I had John Beard check out the L.T.T. cartouche on the stock - you may recall the thread.

No but I'm aware of the LTT stamp.

Markings on top of comb on 1903A1
The markings are, from what I can see,are "1" which is 1st Cavalry, the second mark is "E", which is Troop E and the final 3 numbers are the Troopers numbers,The markings were placed here on the comb so as to be read when in the scabbard. The inspector mark ,LTT, is from the late 1930s. If I am not mistaken Mr.Beard found it some years ago.

Thanks! I will have to take another look at the numbers.
