Eddystones - owned by NY State Police
I ran a similar thread to this one almost two years ago and am editing and re-listing with hope of locating one of these Eddystones:
I collect firearms and gear used by the NY State Police since their inception in 1917.
I am trying to obtain an Eddystone that was used by that agency. Circa 1940, the agency made a purchase of 355 surplus Eddystones and proceeded to distinctively mark them on the rifle's butt plate with the agency's initials (NYST) and also a property number. Years later they were disposed of.

Do you have any pictures of how these were stamped to identify them as NYSP property?
