Thank yall for liking my first carbine purchase. I am going to try to acquire the correct parts for it. Thanks to Phillydude for the acquisition of some of those parts. If anyone can help out please let me know.

Just my opinion, but I think you should leave that carbine alone. It looks like a nice, early post WWII re-build that has probably not been messed with. It looks to have been refinished during re-build and will be costly to restore. I think it's a shame to restore fresh from re-build military weapons when there are so many guns that have been through an arsenal more than once or altered since being released to the civilian market.
