I think my point was missed. Your carbine looks like an un-messed with, fresh from re-build carbine. These nice re-builds are becoming more collectable. By replacing current parts with correct manufacturer parts, it's just another parts gun and I think it will lose some of it's history and possibly some value. I would leave it as is, but it's your carbine to do with what you wish.

FWIW I think the 'Trimble Tn' is a new stamp. Although, if it is, why didn't they stamp the cartouche too? It just doen't look right to me. I have seen the original AAY Auguta Arsenal re-build stamp before.
