what do I have?

03a3 collector, just got my first carbine from South Store. Inland service grade, no. 5103***, 3-43 Inland, GM barrel. Stock has strong crossed cannons on right side, has an 0 and an RSG (C or O?) in the slingwell, and an AAF above the trigger on the left side, as well as a P on the grip.

Handguard is marked O RMC
Front sight: N
rear sight: appears to be an ordinance wheel
safety: M inside a circle
hammer: M
Bolt: 3 P6N and an M
recoil plate: SG
front band w/bayonet lug: SA

I liked the strong crossed cannons on the stock (best of about 30 SG carbines there) and took it to the counter. It measured less than 1 on the muzzle guage. Am well pleased with it. Don't know much about the markings. Is this a replacement stock or original?

It's an original stock but not for an Inland. The O is most likely A Q for Quality Hardware. Q-RMC would be a stock made by Rock-Ola for Quality. The AAF is for the Auguat Armory where it was rebuilt. The rest of your parts are typical of a rebuilt carbine with most being WW2 manufacture. The barrel band is a post war Springfield Armory replacement. Sounds like you have a good shooter. hth

The hammer is more likely a W from White Sewing Machine Co. or Less likely a Winchester. The way to tell the difference is to look at the W closely. If it is taller than it is wide then it is White Sewing Machine. If it is as wide as it is high, then it is Winchester.

What's that bolt marking? Is it a NPM?

Can you take another look at the marking and maybe post a picture? What you've written down doesn't make sense.
