Smaco Global Arms has New Shipment of K31's
First time I've seen unissued offered but they have them. Pricy but probably worth it. They have all grades in both Beech and Walnut stocks.
Get them while you can, probably won't last long.

I wonder if they have the current billboard import marks?

Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants. Beautiful rifle like that butchered by that import mark.

The AIM imports were hidious. Would almost be tempting to put a drill & tap scope mount to cover them. OTS but are you looking for a no 5 mk 1?

No but curiously enough, I saw a guy selling a bunch of them supposedly arsenal refinished at a gun show Saturday. I looked at one and it looked legit, it had lightning cuts that I could see under the handguard. A second had an incorrect bolt on it He must have had a dozen of them. Didn't ask the price because I wasn't looking for one.

I found a source for new imports (not AIM).

Old thread but I had to comment.
I ordered one of these rifles along with a couple of the Yugo
24/47s in September.
On top of Samcos legendary horrible customer service, they didn't put any of my info on the order. So when my rifles came in to my dealer they sat for about a month with no name or info on them. Even though when I kept calling them they said "its shipping and we cannot give you the tracking #".
When I did pick these three rifles up, damn did they look AMAZINGLY brand new. Even the dealer commented how nice.
I get them home and start to oil them up. To my surprise the blue rubbed right off on the edges and wear spots. Totally a crappy cold blue job. The k31 in walnut had much more wear spots on it after I oiled it. The yugos only had MINOR blue touch up but numbers did not match. Called them and their policy is that the bolt and action are considered "all matching". The other parts they do not consider. Very sketchy.
By the way, the rifles were wrapped in plastic wrap with a shipping tag. Got a few new scratches in the shipping process from their lack of care.
In conclusion, I have two Yugo 24/47s in walnut that have brand new barrels and great looking actions that match but mismatched stocks that don't fit very well. The k31 is all matching walnut but was definitely used but still like new. The cold blue touch ups and misleading terminology regarding numbers is not good business.
I am happy with the rifles but very unhappy with Samco. I wont be using them anymore.
*edit* All three rifles had a great very hidden and small import mark under the tip of the barrels. That's a +

Just FYI, Samco is currently involved in a very contentious bankruptcy so we'll probably see someone buy all their stock & liquidate it.

SAMCO is bankrupt and
has nothing but junk to sell. I spoke with a major importer who was approached to buy them out. He said there is nothing there but garbage.

So, someone has already done the cherry picking and what's left is the rest.
