I think the Carbine Collector club put up nice displays at the AGCA show in B'ham a few times.

The Natonal M1 Carbine Display and Competition
The National M1 Carbine Display and Competition was held in 2006, 2007, 2008 in Birmingham Alabama at the BJCC center. The Carbine Club had nothing to do with putting it on. I was responsible for putting it on with the help of the Alabama Gun Collectors Association. It was a great event but was very time consuming and expensive to put on. I had some help from some people like Larry Ruth, Ron Wellman, Martin McVay, Capt. Rich Van Damme and Capt. Kenny Williamson. I have since done some smaller displays in Huntsville Alabama and at the Ohio Gun Collector show in Dayton Ohio. I am in the process with Tom Laemlein the author of the M1 Carbine book in the American Firepower Series organizing a M1 Carbine forum and some displays at large event venues like the World War two Museum in New Orleans La. We hope to put on a series of television shows as well featuring American firearms made for the U.S. military. Keep in touch more news and announcements to come.

I have already looked at it about two weeks ago for a friend. It is a nice representative of an early Inland. I use to own rifle 1259 and it was the twin to your rifle. Good find for you and welcome to the M1 Carbine community.

I drove 9 hours from Dallas to attend the first show and it was worth every minute - The show had so many carbines and carbine displays, etc I was almost overwhelmed... Hope there will someday be another.

I went to Paul's display in Ohio May 2011. I'd like to see another like they had in Alabama also. I need another road trip.
