What an interesting read, thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the effort you went through to develop a quality product., Ray

Next off to the tumbler, tumbled with corn cob and ceramic media to deburr (may have to use hardened steel shot), then to the Parkerizing tank. My tumbling and Parkerizing set-up is very simple. I use an old steel 4 cubic ft. cement mixer and a U.S. Surplus M59 Field Range with custom stainless tanks for the park solution and hot water rinse. This way I don't have to have a dedicated permanent set up, and yes, I do it all outdoors under a welding shed by the barn, especially when using the M59. My plan is to convert the M59 Burner Unit to Propane or Natural Gas. Found some good instructions on the net for the conversion.

Looks like a very nice product, just out of curiosity will the WW I brass hooks be coated black as the originals?

We can blacken the brass on request. The chemical blackening is as original per Mil Spec, but wears easily.
