Correct Webley Ammo!
Greetings!
Some of this has been covered elsewhere, but I want to be sure, so here is the query. Is it okay to shoot the following ammo in an unshaved Webley 455 MK VI:
Fiocchi Cal. 450 Corto
Doninion (CIL) Centre Fire Cartridges 455 Colt
Sorry If I am rehashing old material, but I value my Webleys (and my right hand!).
Aloha,
Loren

As far as I have seen, that should be fine. But since I've never been able to find any myself, I can't tell you from personal experience. Others will chime in.

Some people have expressed concerns that the 450 corto is a bit on the hot side . Fiocchi does load a 455 that will work as will the Doninion above , acording to the same people.

455 Webley
I had recovered these 455 Webley 265 gr bullets that were fired into the end grain of an oak log. Interesting the jacket mushroom size from the oak log. My S&W Model 1915 Type 2 was used and I believe it was Mark 2Attachment 55133 cartridges

From what I've been led to believe about this ammo, those bullets performed exactly as they were intended.

Thanks everyone for the helpful info. Based on what I have learned here and elsewhere, I believe all those rounds are acceptable, with the caveat regarding the Corto being a bit hot. Thanks again.

Loren
