New member here with a varied interest in the milsurps, thought ya might like to see my resto Longbranch. Saved it from bubba who cut up the wood, left the metal alone though. Picked it up for $50 plus the correct bits and pieces to "bring" it back, total investment around $150. Plus my small stable of Brit iron. Enjoy

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Nice collection, they are very enjoyable. Also like the steiner M22s off to the side in the first pic. Great glass!

Sharp eye for detail sir, those Steiners came home with me from Afghanistan. You would be surprised how much optics/scopes get destroyed by DRMO in country. So I managed to "liberate" that pair. Plus an Alcan Spectre scope that sits on my Fal rifle.

Glad a good guy has them unlike so much of the hardware left behind.
