Agreed, I have a similar mark on mine purely caused by rubber boot/outer edge of scope wear I believe

I took the Enforcer to the range on Sunday. After bore sighting and firing four rounds at 25 yards, I had the rifle hitting the point of aim. I then moved it out to 100 yards and fired eight rounds off the bipod. I don't know why I'm amazed, but the group was impressive seeing as I wasn't really concentrating. I had all eight holes within a fraction more than an inch. I was using a very old box of commercial 308 winchester ammunition. This rifle has a lot of potential

Thats why they make good money, as more and more people realise what a piece of art they are in 7.62, and long may they continue going up

They may not have the 'history' of the No4T but they certainly have the capabilities - and, at 50% + of the price are still very cheap.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

I'd like to find one at half the cost of a 4t.

I don't think I've ever seen a real Enfield Enforcer, and I suspect if one ever did turn up for sale it would be at least as expensive, probably more so, than a No 4 (T).

Just to add to the Nikko/Sterling scope info my 76/77 copy of the Parker Hale catalogue shows them as one of their product lines along with Pecar and Redfield.
