Could some one please confirm if this liner is of WW2 vintage, seller says no visable makers marks

There will be a mark up in the very top inside. You'll need a good light and your glasses. I think that's WW2, because of the grommet in the front. Others will be along...

They stopped using khaki webbing at the end of WWII. When they started producing new helmets again for the Korea War they were all made with 'Olive Drab' (Dark Green) webbing.

PS - Don't pay a lot for it in that condition.. they are easier to find than you may think.

Good to hear! It really is better later on to save up a couple bucks more now to buy any militaria in good shape....
I just had to liquidate a lot of my guns and gear at two gun shows. I sold almost all I brought for good prices but I had a couple of run-down pieces marked low and I still have them.
