I have used Accumounts PE copy and a copy of the M84. They both work but not like the orginals. Both of them are clear and hold zero but you have to go off clicks instead of the scales on elevation. I have been involved with a RSM ZF39 replica and it is not that sturdy. Cheap of the cheap.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Well, I have to say that you guys are really making me cringe. I now have probably 1,300 rods through my repro 4T with Warren's tarted up scope on it. I remove the scope and put it and the rifle in my repro transit box after every outing. Last night I scored a first shot hit on a 16"x16" gong at 700m in really low light and really high wind. If any of these are being torture tested it's surely mine and so far it's really holding me over until I can buy a real one. And on that day I'll really shoot the repro to death.

It's just like buying a Moskvich car in the 80's Flying Pig. It was probably perfect for you and others who just wanted something to get around the block - while the going was good. But when an engineer looks under the bonnet, he tells you it's shi............ er..............., not quite all the ticket and any repair that you need in the future might be problematical.

Or the other old chestnut about '.......well, my grandad smoked 50 Capstan Full-Strength cigarettes a day and he lived until he was 100 - before he died (of cancer). So 5 a day won't harm me. Enjoy the Moskvich or the whatevers while you can I say

Just my view of these repros having fixed one of the three that I have been asked to fix.
