After carefully studying the instructional video, I'm going to conclude from all the comments that there is some possibility this is a Lithgow installation of a Lithgow heavy barel and proceed with a restoration using only proper Lithgow parts. I'll post a picure or two when I'm done with it. Anxious to get it done and to the range before it's snowed in for the winter as the condition of the bore bodes well for some real accuracy potential. Thanks again for the replies.
