[Snafu]

A PATROL ON THE BEACHHEAD. Patrols came ashore in LVT's before the main body of infantry and tanks. As the amphibians came over the coral reefs, no barbed wire, mines, or other military obstacles impeded them.

Ya gotta love that big M2... quite a sight to watch those tracers arc out 1800 yards right where you put 'em. They can, however, be a bear to keep timed right when they get worn.

Our guns have changed now and headspace and timing are gone. The QCB version eliminates all that.

Back in the gulf wars , one of my nephews was in a vehicle recovery group . They provided protection to some cannon cockers at night. They were trained on the QCB , but thier vehicles had old school . No one taught them headspace nor supplied gauges . Well , I gave my nephew hands on training on mine and my set of gauges when he went back . He timed and headspaced all his group's guns and trained all the gunners how to do it . He also passed the training along to his replacement's group and left my gauges with them when he came back.
