American Fork and Hoe made it and Union Fork and Hoe did the cut job... So you say your MPI was lower than without the blade on?

Yes. I was testing some reloads and after putting on the bayonet I fired six more 3" down and 3" apart. Couple of flyers. Just a tryout. Spent most of the morning with the M1A. I'm going to spend more time next time and maybe at 100 yds.
Is the bayonet a good one?
