    Anyone else going to offer any comment on the too-crisp-and-clean-to-be-true markings on the right butt socket? I know others might have other ideas but an unsupported, thin No1 barrel like that will be whipping around like a bulldogs balls when it's fired. Not good for accuracy of any sort.......

    @Peter Laidlericon. Sorry my bad english, I am not sure I understand what you are saying ?
    That rifle came from a friend who reload and he used to hunt with this 303 and developped a load that does less than a 1'' at 100y Rifling is still crisp and he never had any issue shoot with it.

    here is additional detailed pics
    Still try to figure why PH would convert an enfield using one with a Drill purpose stamps on it..
