52-b
Rick,
It does appear your new "B" has an original factory "B" stock with added butt assy. and it appears refinished as best I can tell from your pic. It appears to have the original horizontal forearm tension screw.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking through old ad's in the magazines, looking for options one could order with this rifle. I have not run into anything that would give a person this stock option. The sights came with a mutitude
of brands and styles one could order in back then. This is another one that shoots fantastic when I do my part. I will keep looking...
Thanks Capt.RJM

I got the stock for Christmas and to be honest I'm not really sure (i.e., remember) who made the blank. Just for general information the scope is a 20x Unertl that I ordered in Columbus at one of the state championship matches. Because I wanted the black mounts I had to wait about 3 months to get it. Sorry I couldn't remember the stock manufacturer.

52 stock
Jim S,
Your stock was a Fajen brand.
To avoid confusion though that is not the maker of the stock the Capt has posted a pic of.
Capt. If your irons are giving you trouble get diopter by Gehmann or Anschutz and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

That name does ring a bell but I don't think that I would have come up with it myself. Thanks.

Thanks Binew, although modified i feel better about the stock now LOL. I couldnt pass the trade up although its costing me a team of mules to put it beside my 52D. Will take some better photos when I get it in hand. But in the meantime where the heck are those shot group photos guys?

No shot group photo, but I am reminded of the time I was practicing years ago. A fly landed on my target next to one of the sighter bulls. I told my good friend and shooting buddy to watch my target. The result: One Shot, One Kill.

Shooting Necco wafers
One of my favorite targets are Necco wafers. Take a 2X4 and cut a shallow groove with your skill saw in it length wise. Support the 2X4 between two saw horses, make sure you have a good back drop. Stand the Necco's up in groove and shoot away. They shatter on impact and there is no mess to clean up as the next rain dissolves them into the ground. Cheaper than shooting quarters and the kids love the left overs.

troy you sir are a genius, my buddy and I got the crazy idea who could shoot smaller so we have been working our way down. Last week I put a round down the empty end of a 40 S&W casing, punching the primer out, so we need even smaller.... neco's could be awesome, cut em small turn them sideways. You should be knighted by the queen, if we had one, for the ideas you have given me!

Try aspirins at 50 yd. Paint them if difficult to see. Glue on a backer sheet.
