Frank, You've probably got the 2nd printing of WarBaby! One thing I've learned about that book is to always look at the "Errata Sheet" which is about 2-3 pages in from the front cover. This will show corrections that apply to several errors in the book. I looked there first for the answer to your question about the flip safety - and didn't see anything. Then, I checked in WarBabyIII which has all the corrections known (at the time of printing) for both of the first two books. On page 1144, I found the correction for your reference to the safeties on page 352 of WarBaby! Basically, it says to cross out the the words "mid 1944" and replace them with "mid 1945" until the end of production. Hope that helps. - BobInformation
