Nazi Astra 400 & Holster...
I acquired this rig over the weekend at a gun show. The pistol in the the German
contract range of 1940-41. It's in nice original condition and came with an unusual canvas and leather holster and two mags. Here are some pics.

Doesn't look long enuf to be a 400, looks more like a 600. What markings are on top of the slide? Are the mags ser nr'd?
No WaA so that one didn't get to the Germans regardless of where the ser nr puts it.
Interesting holster, to bad there are no markings on it.

Sorry Sarge, You're wrong on all your assertions. It's a 400 & they weren't waffenamted. Do some reading on the subject before you opine.
"Axis Pistols" , Jan C. Still, Pg.108
"Astra Automatic Pistols", Leonard M. Antaris, Pg.72,239.

The holster is TT33 tokarev pattern. It fits a lot of pistols I have had Radom and 1911's in them. Gary

Sorry but it's too large for a Tokarev, it would swim in it. It might accomodate a Radom or a 1911(A1) but the mags are longer than the pouch.

Could it be for a Radom P35? Any thing stamped under the flap?
